I absolutely loved "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand". It's a comfort read for me, relief from the unmitigated angst and misery of so many of the books I've been reading. But it doesn't go the other way's not fluff, just a good story , well written and a very enjoyable read. I wish there were more like it. Hope you enjoy it!
